On September 2, 2007, Jonathan Becker, 11, swam from Lake Bluff to the Sodus Point Lighthouse, a distance of 1.5 miles. The Lake Ontario water was cold and slightly choppy.
His support team consisted of his mom & dad, Charles and Carol Becker, his sisters Charlotte, Sarah and Lindsay, and cousin Mary VanVechten.
